Aluminum Extrusion

The aluminum extrusion is that to make aluminum rod to be melted, extruded, so that it can measures up to different shape of sections from the former aluminum materials.The Producing process mainly include: melt, casting, extrusion and plating. The plating process mainly includes: oxidation, electrophoresis coating, fluorine carbon spraying, powder spraying etc.

Production Process of Aluminum Extrusion
1. Casting:
a. Material proportioning: calculate the amounts of alloying elements need to add in by the specific alloy.
b. Melting: put the proportional materials into the melting furnace. Then let them melting, refined through degassing, deslagging in processes.
c. Casting: There is a casting system prep aired to form the liquid into certain shape. After melting the materials, we put it into the casting system. And then let it solidify to shape a casting rod of various specifications.
2. Extrusion:
There is a designed extrusion die to the cross section of the certain aluminum extrusion profile. Then the heated casting rod is pushed or drawn through the die for extrusion molding. This process is to form the aluminum profile.
3. Coating:
a. Surface pretreatment: to achieve a full, dense artificial oxide film, the newly produced aluminum extrusion profile should be cleaned by chemical or physical methods.
b. Anodizing: the surface of the pretreated aluminum extrusion profile should get anodized, forming a layer of dense, porous and absorptive AL203 film under certain technological conditions. c. Sealing of pores: to improve the corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance of the film, the pores of oxidization film should be sealed. This is the final manufacturing process.
So, the aluminum extrusion is finished and ready for use.
